What exactly am I gifting?: You're giving a one-year, all-inclusive membership to Hotline for $90. This covers unlimited questions with all our experts by phone, text, or email. Every gift membership includes a welcome box with a printed guide, magnets, and a few other goodies to get them started.
When does the one-year clock start?: The membership begins on the day the recipient sends their first message, not the day you buy it.
Can I include a personal message?: Yes. You can write a personal message during checkout that we'll include in their welcome email.
Can I provide context about the person I’m gifting to?: We encourage it! During checkout, there's a spot to share helpful details (e.g., "uses an iPhone," "loves to garden," "has dietary restrictions"). This helps us personalize their experience.
What if they don’t want it or don’t use it?: No problem. If the membership hasn't been started, we can transfer the gift to someone else or provide a full refund. Just let us know.
Will the gift automatically renew after a year?: No. Gifts do not auto-renew. We'll send a simple reminder near the end of the year, and they (or you) can decide if they'd like to continue. No pressure, no surprise charges.
How will they know their year is ending?: We send a friendly email reminder near the end of their membership with simple options to continue on their own or let it expire.
