Our Satisfaction Guarantee
We built Hotline to be trusted, useful, and simple. If it's not working for you, tell us and we'll make it right. This page explains how we will make it right in plain language.
Our promise
- New customers: Try Hotline for 30 days. If you're not happy for any reason, ask and we'll refund what you paid for your first month.
- Monthly plans (after the first month): If your most recent monthly charge was in the last 30 days and you're not satisfied, we'll refund that charge when you ask.
- Annual plans: If your annual charge was in the last 30 days, we'll refund it in full. After 30 days, you can cancel to stop future renewals; in special cases we may offer a pro‑rated credit or refund.
We're reasonable people. If Hotline isn't a fit, we'll work with you to make it right.
How to request a refund
Email support@hotline.net from the address on your account with the subject line "Satisfaction Guarantee."
Include:
- your full name
- the email/phone used with Hotline
- the date and amount of the charge
For security, we may send you a login link to confirm the request.
We process refunds promptly to your original payment method (processing times depend on your bank or card issuer).
Who's eligible
- U.S. consumer subscriptions bought directly from Hotline.net.
- One first‑month refund per user.
What's not covered
To keep things fair for everyone, we may decline or limit refunds if:
- We detect fraud, payment disputes/chargebacks, or abuse of the guarantee (e.g., repeated sign‑ups and cancellations to obtain multiple refunds);
- The account violates our Terms (e.g., prohibited or dangerous use);
- The request is made more than 30 days after the applicable charge;
- The purchase was made through a third party we don't control.
Carrier message/data rates and applicable taxes/fees charged by others may be non‑refundable.
A few things to know
- Cancel anytime: You can cancel whenever you like. Cancellation stops future billing; you keep access through the period you already paid.
- We try to fix it first: Many issues are quick to resolve. If you prefer a refund, just say so.
- No tricks: We do not require long explanations or hoops. A short note is enough.
Legal notes
- This Satisfaction Guarantee is a goodwill refund policy. It does not create a warranty or service‑level obligation.
- It works alongside our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy (not instead of them). If there's a conflict, the Terms control.
- We may update this page from time to time; the version posted on our website is the current one.
